The Delhi High Court, on January 7, dismissed a PIL filed against actor Aamir Khan's recently released film PK, saying that "the film was not offensive.
The film, which is directed by Rajkumar Hirani, may have impressed critics and audiences but the portrayal of Hindu sentiments in the film has drawn the ire of right-wing organisations which say the movie disrespects Hindu religion.
The film, which released on December 19, became the first Bollywood film to make Rs 300 crore on January 5. PK also stars actors Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput and Boman Irani.
