Indian opening batsman, Shikhar Dhawan congratulated team India on breaking the ICC Cricket World Cup jinx by beating South Africa in their fourth meeting at the tournament and registering first win over the African giants in the tournament.
He also termed his teammate and partner, Ajinkya Rahane as a ‘peaceful warrior’ for his calm and composed innings of 79 that helped India post a total of 307, following his brilliant century with a score of 137. “He is our peaceful warrior,” said Dhawan and added that he took off the pressure from himself that enabled him to play freely and his natural game.
